    Itunes is going away??

If you convert to WAV , their is no loss. WAV does not use compression.

    Itunes is going away??

Maybe i just had a bad run with it, though its doubtful as I am very picky regarding audio quality. I purchased over 500 songs over the years and always found the audio quality pretty poor, especially in the upper frequency spectrum. Maybe they are not using good "ripping" software to convert to...

Good remix edition of DJ Beats

All the ravings about Promo Only and PrimeCuts but realistically is there really anything one has to get with the redundant crap in the current music charts? There hasn't been any major dance floor "have to have" hit for probably at least a year or more!

Good remix edition of DJ Beats

I know its quite sad in a way when we reflect back , back in the day we were paying $3 per 45rpm 7inch single.. Record, whats a record?? Whats a CD? Now the stuff is practically free. Jump for joy i guess but there's not the magic to collecting like back in the old days.

    Ultimix Warehouse Sale

It seems odd they're selling them like that on eBay as I thought they were restricted for DJ use only.

What year did music really die? I'm picking the last few years as its being abysmal.

    Gear you regret selling

I once sold a Clay Paky [Italy] multi - rotating gobo / scanner and spotlight with reflective mirror for the bargain bargain basement price of $180USD complete with a DMX control unit .It was near to new condition when I sold it. It had cost me around $4000USD and that was the distributor price...

What happens if you get to a venue and don't have ground continuity?

Certainly could come in handy when you really need power and dont want the hassle and cost of buying a generator. I've got a couple of battery back up speakers for my DJ emergency's where power goes out but an inverter device used from the car could be good as a home emergency.

    Noticing a very interesting trend

OK, i agree 100%, the new music in the last 5 years is complete garbage bar a few songs . If it is true that younger ones are now sliding to music of the past like the 80's then why is it the newer songs have often over a billion views on YouTube yet the much older ones are only in their...

NEW music that is working for your dance floor...

Nah, Budapest definitely was a laid back background track whereas Shotgun has a stronger melody with a backbeat you can dance to. Kids are asking for it to.

NEW music that is working for your dance floor...

Yes i agree it seems the dreadful music state is a reflection of the decayed run down society we presently are living in. Always look on the bright side wherever possible , do what we can to make things better .. If anyone has anything to add in terms of any new music that works your...

NEW music that is working for your dance floor...

I cannot find anything in the UK or US top 40 that has any kind of dancefloor traction... So erroneously went to Russian top 40 and came up with this , lol: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6GgV5wYXn4

To EQ or not to EQ, that is the question

Could it be some of the mp3 song files themselves are too bassy or may be culled from YouTube audio which has a distinct loss in the upper frequency range?

Still better than a Drake song

I think all of Drakes music sucks from a personal viewpoint but also whenever I've played his stuff it doesn't hold the dance floor. It seem MTV is reverting back to playing all old stuff now since none of this new music cuts it for the dance floor and has a lifespan barely the length of time it...
