I just found out on YouTube that in order to get the sound right using my controller that you go to the microphone setting and use the drop box to find the controller you're using. It doesn't come up at all. It says same as and it tells you if you don't see anything you have to use soundflower, jackhole or something else. I don't know what those are and don't a thing about how to set it up so the sound will be right for the controller I'm using. EMERGENCY PLEASE HELP ASAP. Thanks anybody.

Read and do. Don't add or subtract from the instructions just do. Don't put your spin on it or pretend there will be divine intervention because you are you just read and do

Wishing you good skill my-friend. You say you’re a pro, with years under your belt, so I’m sure you will figure it out.

Your controller is a midi device - meaning midi instruction is the only input/output to your computer unless it is also an external sound card (has audio outputs.) That sound card is only receiving audio from your PC - it is not sending back.

To send the audio or video output of your DJ application to Zoom you need to have an internal capture of the audio and/or video. If your DJ software is not such a stream ready application then you need to install a capture software to act as an intermediate.

Download OBS Studio and use that to capture the audio and/or video output from your DJ program, or webcam, etc.

I have BlackHole on my computer. It let's you take the mix output of the S9 (or, likely your controller) and the re-route it. Your computer won't do that on it's own.

You can download it here: https://existential.audio/blackhole/

He has a Denon MC6000v2 .. it has a bi-directional USB link, so should be able to send data back as well .. assuming a properly configured I/O.

MIDI and USB are both bi-directional as is any serial comm link, but the Denon is not sending audio back to the PC, It is simply sending instructions on how to manipulate the audio stream being sent to a sound card.

If he wants to Zoom that audio or video output he has to capture it within the PC itself. For example, he can send his main audio output to the (local) default PC sound card, and then simply have the meeting moderator share his audio/video to the group. This is the simplest answer but, the Denon would be used only for control and cue - the Denon would not be the main output.

A capture application would allow him to push whatever audio and video he wants, including external or multiple sources, with layered composition and transitions. Blackhole is a very specific audio capture application- but, is also for MAC only.

No, it's sending USB audio back .. I have one. I would have preferred 4 in/2 out, but it's 2x2.

It got taken care of. My friend has a Zoom account and my partner did the setup so it will work properly so people can hear the music correctly. Had to use a device to act as an interface with quarter inch to RCA. Only issue is I can't hear a thing on Zoom with it having to be setup this way. So I will need someone to call me to let me know when to play music and when to stop it when it's time for the next speaker. Zoom just doesn't have enough connections to get setup so I can hear what's going on on Zoom. Well at least I can play the music for people to enjoy. Maybe in the future someone will figure a way to get it done that way as well.

Speaker jam is not about some old DJ
with ego playing music he likes.
Will there be comments after each speaker?
Will history of the group & count down
of the years clean?

Once again you're wrong as usual. Speakers will be sharing on the 12 steps and don't think just because of my age things won't go well with the music. I will be playing music for breaks and at 11:30PM I will be playing music for about 40 minutes. It will be upbeat music. Not that corny crap you would play. It will be me mixing the music and not just playing one song after another. I will tell you one song that must be played. Let It Fall. That song is very popular around here.

I must be wrong? What it was like, What happened & what it is like today!
40 mins of play time? What four songs will you be mixing?
wishing good skill !!
