So I bought those speaker cable organizer clips before XMAS. I gave a pair each to all of my DJs. I bought 2 pair for myself.

Tonight was the first time using them. I figure that I can just keep the clips on the speaker stands. I put them on once, and leave them on there for the long run. I took a picture of how they look. I still used a piece of GAF Tape on the leg of the speaker stand to keep a nice, clean look. Overall, I like them. The Cables are held right up against the pole when I use velcro ties. These clips leave the cords sitting just a bit loose from the pole, BUT keeps a clean look, and you don't have to worry about the Velcro being too tight potentially hendering the audio signal. Also, keeping the clips on the speaker stand, and using them instead of velcro ties shaves a good 30 to 60 seconds out of set up time installing the velcro ties!

I can't figure out why the picture is loading onto ODJT this way. It is saved up right correctly in my laptop. Anyway, that's just to give you an idea of how the cable looks with 2 clips.

If you are interested in buying these clips for yourself, they sell them on Amazon for $3.99 a pair. I would buy at least 2 pair to use.

I bought 6 pairs from Ben at NLFx .. they do work nice. Only downside is I can keep velcro on a completely lowered pole. I need to stop an inch or 2 short with the Gravity clips on so they fit.

Can’t seem to find them. Could you please post a link?[emoji4]

Oh, very interesting!

It seems they are currently unavailable on Amazon. Perhaps they were all sold out by the seller on there.

Glad it wasn’t my own ineptness. Didn’t think to look on eBay though. THANKS![emoji1]

I have been using velcro straps on my stands for years. I keep straps on 2 of the 3 legs (for daisy chaining and one where the legs come together. I use velcro straps on my cables too and I just slide one down from the cable end to secure the cable to the top of the pole. Works great and keeps the wires snug. Harbor Freight has 10" velro staps at 20/$6. They can get ratty looking after a lot of use but they are cheap to replace.

I find the Gravity clips are better for stands with multiple cables (lighting trees mostly). I also use them in conjunction with Velcro if I'm running a powered top with one of my CBI siamese cables that have 2 XLR and power in one cable. The clip is easier to get the large cable in place fast and the velcro holds it taught.

I prefer the clips, though I use the Velcro quite a bit too. The RCF EVOX 8’s come with two clips on the pole, but that’s only good for one cable (the speakon cable that connects the top to the base unit). I sometimes hook Chauvet Colorbanks light to the poles, so those have two cables (on each light/pole) to manage. Velcro works, but I think the clips would save a few minutes. Every minute helps.[emoji4]
