BTW, both are nearly identical spec wise .. 6x18W, IR/WirelessDMX/WiFi capable .. and both sell within a $1 of each other (about $150 per light bought singly down to about $125 per bought 8 or more).

I figured they were probably pretty close you don't usually compare apples to oranges. Which do you prefer?

I don't know. Style A looks nearly identical to the Chauvet Freedom Pars and Style B looks like the Eternal CubeECHO. Style A has the little lip which might hide the lenses from view (depending on angle), but the angle adjuster is a tilting foot. Style B uses a removable yoke and could be attached to a stand in a pinch with an o-ring.

I like B, but why not buy the Chauvet Freedom Pars? What’s the brand of the one you (@steve149) posted?
The Chauvet Freedom Par Hex and the Eternal CubeEcho are around $400 .. the Chinese clone (junmanlight seller on eBay) is about 1/3 of that price, so I can buy a few spares and still save a lot .. IF they work. Taso and Rick seem to have had a good experience with them. I'd really like to know how they compare. I would probably start with a 4 pack and maybe pick up the corresponding Chauvet or Eternal unit on eBay to compare optics, brightness, battery, etc.

If they hold up .. it's not like Chauvet or ADJ are "professional level" either .. :)

If you say so.[emoji1]... But it sure seems to this dumb ole country boy that you’re using the EXACT same rationale for those lights as others used when buying microphones.[emoji1]

My rationale on the audio side is the performance doesn't reach a level I consider acceptable (soundwise or build wise). I'm not sure on the lights, seeing as the cost of LEDs and batteries have plummeted in the past few years. It certainly may be they are junk, but a misoperating light doesn't have the same overall effect as a misoperating speaker or mic ..

I did ..

.... so if these don't work up to snuff, I won't use them. I just can't try them out anywhere near me and the cost is low enough to experiment with.

Read this in a French accent “. Hon hon wee wee I like tha chauvet ....hon hon”

I’ve had good luck with chauvet stuff. But I am very careful with my stuff. I’m sure if I had to do a 300 stop tour with different roadies at each stop,,,, I would be looking for something better , but I think for us the adj and chauvet prices are fine.

LMAO... Still sounds like the same logic as others used when they tried GTD Systems.[emoji1]... And I’m sure if YOU think they’re good enough to use, you’ll use them for your gigs.[emoji1] I’m having Deja Vu.

I'm sure it's the same logic for others .. I just evaluate the results differently.

Nothing wrong with them .. I have Chauvet, ADJ and Blizzard lights, but you'd never see them on a tour, in an arena or similar. They are what they are.

Maybe some day you can explain how to “evaluate results differently” to those of us who may be a little slow???[emoji1]
Did I say "differently" .. I meant to say "properly" .. :)
