uplights question

You pulling my chain? You seriously had the lights delivered in 2 days after ordering? ...I am thinking these lights are coming direct from China, or do they have someone here in US with a stock pile of product ready to ship out?

Nope, from China. It surprised me too but the delivery time was about the same as anything from the states.

Did another high school Christmas dance last night to about 150 kids. The new uplights from RainbowLightsUS did not disappoint. Mounted a snow machine in the center of my truss and triggered it at key points throughout the evening. It was also the first time I got to use my new wireless DMX receivers that saves me a lot of time on running DMX cables. The video quality is poor but it does show how bright these lights are even on tall walls.

Great seeing the posts and continued discussion on wireless battery powered uplights/pars. I pulled the trigger on a set of 10 - 9X18 (6in1)
pars. A couple local DJs had great luck with WinGo lighting and decided to give them a shot. I purchased in Aug '18 and paid $100ea + shipping of $240.
Unfortunately, I had/having a few issues. 1) I ordered white and received black (honestly kinda' happy about that mixup and can get over it)... 2) received 1 fixture that has issues with wireless dmx or something else...don't know... still haven't been able to get them to solve the problem. Light will function in static mode.

Recourse with WinGo: 1) I contacted about the mixup. My rep claimed that I ordered black and then back-peddled after pointing out email string. Instead of an exchange he offered to give me a discount on another set of lights, which after a bit of back & forth amounted to 10% off. . . not much of an incentive. 2) Tested the lights and discovered trouble with a fixture. Contacted with a video proving the issue. Rep said that it was the Motherboard and would send me a replacement MB not a new fixture. Replaced MB (in December) and still had the issue. Thinking that it may be the dmx board I tried contacting my rep for replacement and/or advice. . . no response. . . tried again and again and again and even tried reaching out to another rep with ZERO replies from the company. I just want a little advice people!!! :)

Anywho.....Maybe I'll get lucky and the company will FINALLY contact me about the fixture, but I am not holding my breath. Frustrating for sure, but there are other things to worry about. Will look elsewhere for my next set of fixtures though.

I hate to hear that. That's one of the reasons I was willing to pay a little bit more for a company based out of Illinois that speaks English and answers a telephone or email instantly most times.

***UPDATE***
My light is working!!!! I was able to solve by swapping out the wireless DMX board. I had purchased a Lixada Wireless DMX board many months ago to convert wired fixtures, but never did. Guess what? It was a straight swap! Even the light indicating channels match up. Light functions between other fixtures master/slave-send/receive etc. Took me ~15mins to open the fixture and do the swap.

Seems true to what has been mentioned/discussed with importing Chinese fixtures. Pricing reflects the higher percentage of trouble or failure with a fixture with the higher risk being pushed on the consumer. After shipping I spent ~$120 per fixture and at $80 savings from a direct stateside competitor (Rainbow) buying an extra light or two for parts/backup is still a great option. To WinGo's credit, they did send me a mother board to try and fix the problem, but after that didn't solve the problem, it was radio silence.
