School & Teen Events Fun weekend

Started Friday night, we did Mt. Markham middle school dance. It's a 2 hour dance 7 to 9 ( more of a pain in the ass to bring in and take out the equipment ) We did a dance there 2 weeks ago it was a the first dance of the year and was so so, another activity was going on so turn out was low. At the end of the dance Chris the advisor came up and asked what are we doing the 28th. I said were open he said put us down for that date. Well Friday the 28th we're doing the second dance of the new school year and it was worse than the first. We had rotten weather around here that week and the foot ball game was changed from Wednesday night to guess what Friday the 28. Well what kids that were there danced all night. I got paid and went home with money in my pocket.
Part two, Saturday the 29th. we did are last car show of the season. It was held at Herkimer Collage in Herkimer which is about 20 minutes or so from my house. We have done this event for 10 years always a good time and every year it gets bigger. Over the years I've been there in cold, rain, snow, and even some very nice days so each year you never know what to expect for weather. The event goes from 10 to 3, Now here is where it gets busy. We start handing out trophy's at 2.30 got done around 2:45 now we start packing up cause here comes part 3 we have a Home Coming to do at Richfield Springs central school starting at 6.
Part 3 We get all pack up from the car show and get back home around 3:30. Clean up grab a quick bite to eat go hook up my trailer and we head to the school at 4. The adviser opens the door for us at 4:30 so away we go to get things set up and ready by 6. Its a straight shot from the front doors to the gym ( from point a to b about 50 yards ). Got all set up around 5:45. Big turn out of kids for the first 20 minutes or so I did all remixes and the kids were so so on that style so I switch to regular to top 40 and they started to come to life. At the start I have the volume 3/8 to 1/2 turned up and about 45 minutes into the event a girl comes up and says can you turn it up a little I say sure just hold onto your hat. We pushed a lot of air the rest of the night. Great bunch of kids danced all night didn't ask for to many odd ball songs it went Great. Ended at 9 got packed up and out of the school by 10 home in 5 minutes watched a little tv and crashed. I'll unload the truck and trailer today. All I can say is I guess grampa can still ROCK the house
