Nice song. However, even though it's not a hymn, it has religious overtones, so I probably would not use it at a secular holiday party. I've been putting a playlist together for my Thursday night gig (Dec. 7), and have plenty of Christmas tracks without including hymns and Christian songs. In fact, I have more than enough to do the entire gig with nothing but Christmas songs. I was going to go completely Retro, but I think that idea went by the wayside for this event, because they wanted some line dances and Christmas music that would NOT fit the theme. Maybe I'll use that idea at another event?[emoji4]
