my momma told me to sit at least 6' from the tv screen.
my eye doctor tells me the focal point of a computer screen is not at the screen, so if you work all day on a computer you should wear special glasses.

Thanks everyone. After reading and viewing a ton of VR reviews, I've ordered the Noon VR because I can wear my glasses under it and because the app that goes with it (it's registered to the headset device for full operation) allows the user to access full phone and VR menus and settings without having to take the droid in and out of the headset or fumbling for side buttons. One or two taps on the restraining strap does it. The glass optics have a good rating as well.

I got the Google Cardboard as Christmas gift for myself - $15 bucks and you use your smart phone as the screen. It's really pretty amazing. Best $15 I'm spent in a long time. I'm sure the more expensive ones are better but I'm happy with the poor mans VR.
