These don't look great, but might work in some spots and if you put a value of $75-$100 on the controller (they sell it for $150 by itself) and cables, you're getting the PARs at $20 or so a piece.
Downside is the LEDs are individual colors, so convergence will be tough .. might be fine for blue, green, red and white .. will probably have a bit of haloing for others .. but if you need some truss warmers or under skirting lighting .. these may do the job.
