Yes, love the subs! Was looking at Yamaha DSR112's but they came out with DZR's that are very nice... I know some swear by JBL or EV's but I like Yamaha though not opposed to another brand.

Yes, I did watch a bunch of videos and read articles which is why I am posing the question as the sound pros recommend coupling the subs and not separating as there is a cancelling and tunneling effect...but it seems it isn't bad enough since many DJs set them up separated with the tops on poles...

Subs & tops set up??? From all that I've read, you get the best sound when the subs are center of the 2 tops. I still see set ups with the tops mounted above the subs on poles...looks nice but doesn't this go against all the proper sub set up advice out there? I'm sure most attending events...

That's why I was thinking speaker stands with the air lift...there is an adapter that goes on top of speaker stand to mount t-bar too...thanks for your recommendations!
