I saw this laptop in Micro Center. It has a i9 processor with some great specs including 1TB HD. The cost is $3,699. Who willing to spend that much on a laptop to DJ with?
Good for you. Did you buy it and if you didn't why not?I saw a Lamborghini for $25000.00 down with $2589.00 a month lease payments.
Equipment won't fit in the car. I'm working a 150 mile radius on ave.Good for you. Did you buy it and if you didn't why not?
I say a person who can afford that much a month should just buy the vehicle with a full payment and miss monthly payments because anybody who can afford that much for a monthly payment isn't a poor person on a fixed income.I saw a Lamborghini for $25000.00 down with $2589.00 a month lease payments.
Unless it’s 1 of a very limited run, Everyone knows to not buy a Lamborghini new lol… so you either lease or buy one where the worst of the depreciation has already happened. Rich people aren’t dumb lol.I say a person who can afford that much a month should just buy the vehicle with a full payment and miss monthly payments because anybody who can afford that much for a monthly payment isn't a poor person on a fixed income.
You just looked at a computer you have no intention of buying. What’s the difference???The least payment is just over twice my rent. My point is that a poor person or one like me on a fixed income wouldn't go to the showroom or look online for a vehicle with such a monthly payment.
That's my point. You just looked at a computer you have no intention of buying. What’s the difference???
You're right. I just looked. The 2 I have work great for me. I was wondering who would buy that laptop. That was the first i9 I even heard of.You just looked at a computer you have no intention of buying. What’s the difference???

That's the first time I saw one. No problem if someone wants to spend that much for a laptop. What I find is some people can't afford certain things and yet will cause themselves hardship because they have to struggle to pay for a thing.Well .. this is a gaming / graphics processing machine, so gamers will buy this. People that need high system speeds and high video performance will buy this.MSI Creator 17 B11UH-241 17.3" Gaming Laptop Computer - Black; Intel Core i9 11th Gen 11900H 2.5GHz Processor; NVIDIA - Micro Center

If it’s for business, get a loan… make money, pay it off. If it’s not for business then you don’t “need” it.That's the first time I saw one. There are people that are spending that same amount on laptops from Apple.I saw this laptop in Micro Center. It has a i9 processor with some great specs including 1TB HD. The cost is $3,699. Who willing to spend that much on a laptop to DJ with?
Well... not EVERYONE...Everyone knows to not buy a Lamborghini new lol…
Do it! Don't think about it, just do it!I'm looking to replace my main DJ laptop right now. The Macbook Pro I'm looking at is $2,100 from Costco.
Gaming laptops tend to have very high end graphics cards which run the prices up, from what I understand. I'm not much of a computer guy, but the Apple stuff has always served me well in the DJing arena. But my early 2015 edition is starting to show some signs of age and I need at least a couple more years of life out my main machine.
I've been watching these also - it's a new 'gizmo' / feature. While it is cool looking, I'm not sure it'll gain traction among normal users. Also, the difference in screen sizes may eventually cause driver issues and while the size difference may be a minimal hit, it is an increased load on the system itself.I’ve been playing around with this type of dual screen laptop. Very interesting design. Micro Center only has the I9 configuration on display but that is would be overkill and I’d be worried about possible cooling issues. I’m due for another laptop in a years so I’ll see what out then. As far as pricing my first 386sx desktop computer in 1990 computer was $3600 with a discount. It was for office use only, the next desktop 3 year later I had built for non-linear video editing and burning CDs. It was really crazy back then, you shopped for computers in phonebook size Magazine Called “Computer shopper” There was no internet shopping yet. I just kicked myself now for not buying any Intel, Apple or Microsoft stock. If I had likely I’d be logging in from Hawaii.View attachment 54151
