I got a chance to see three different events while I was away on vacation. Nice to sit back and not be responsible for anything. The first was a white gala beach party on the beach. So I’m heading back from the beach and I see these guys moving these huge bass bins, speakers, moving heads & assorted equipment and carrying these across the sand. Along with guys up to their waist digging holes, later I found out to plant truss. Now with the heat & humidity it feels like 95 degrees with the sun beating down on you. All I have to say is hell no & every other 4 name word I can think of would I move that much stuff over-sand. I have to give them props, the setup looked & sounded good. Although DJ needs the good smack in the head. Why? the uncensored version of “Shots” and “Be Faithful was played with even though there were many really young kids there. The look on the parent's faces was priceless. I’m sure there was plenty of other inappropriate stuff in the Spanish but I don’t speak Spanish well enough to pick that out. The second event was a foam party in the pool. The guests loved it. They must be using a different foam formula now because it was gone quickly after the event. The last time I did an indoor event where they had foam, they got the foam in the pool and the Hot tubs. And there was foam everywhere even when we left 2 hrs later, they were still trying to empty the foam pit. The last event was the headphone party with I guess with the Just Dance program. Great as parents gave their kids headphones and didn’t have to listen to the music. In all the entertainment was pretty good and I won’t be complaining about my work being hard. One worker we spoke to it takes him two hours to get home.
