It isn't said often enough thanks for being here. We have made a couple of changes in the last couple of weeks I just wanted to drop you a note to advise you all of them
As you all know our good friend Steve passed away last month we miss him dearly. We had a sub forum called Steve's Steals and Deals for DJ's where Steve would post some great deals he would come across. I ask that if anyone sees any deals on DJ relevant stuff or something members might be interested in you post it there but we didn't feel that was enough. We took the DJ Gear Forum (parent forum of Deals) and made it Steve's Garage. If you remember Steve's comparison videos they were always done in his garage. Words can't express what Steve meant to this board I hope he would be pleased with this move
You may have noticed Dan has taken a hiatus from the board. In his absence we needed a second admin there should always be at least 2 to ensure the board continues on in the event something were to happen to one. As is tradition we always promote from inside and I do believe we had the most qualified candidate there. @ittigger has been a mod here for a few years and in his real job he's an IT guy very knowledgeable with the inner workings of websites/forums he will be a great asset with helping the technically challenged (me) keep things up and running
Last but not least we needed another Moderator. @sawdust123 was a mod at the former DJ chat and more than showed his impartiality there. Jon was always one of those guys that stood out to me when I first joined the boards I asked him late last week and he accepted. Another upside is the guy never sleeps he is always around and being on the left coast he is here many hours when others aren't
