I wish I knew how to put this instrumental from Youtube. Please somebody help me out. It's just a short instrumental that was originally done in 1951. Please go on YouTube and type in original Late Show opening song. 2 different ones will come up with a picture of lighted windows. I want the one that's 31 seconds long. I hope I can get it to use when I'm finished doing an event and I'm telling people the event is over and to have a safe trip where they are going and then play that instrumental. I don't remember the show because I wasn't born when 1951. I was born in 1958. I remember hearing it when it was time for WCBS TV was going off the air and that's when you knew the TV station was going off the air till I believe 6am. If anybody can please help.

Post a link to exactly what you want

Ohh I got it the first time. Again nothing like being current.

This is nothing. Wait until he hears the Looney Toons closing theme with Porky Pig for the first time.

I heard that one as another DJ used it. I loved it. Steve how old are you? I personally like that last one you posted. Is there a clean version? It's funny but at a classy event that wouldn't work.

Then you should have no problem with it ... ba dum tsshh
No sir. I stay away from tacky events tacky bars or clubs. Something like that would work if I'm playing in a rough neck bar or an event with a bunch of rough necks. Like I said those things are not for me today. When I much younger it wouldn't matter. There's one by Big Al Carson Take Your Drunk Ass Home. I wish I could play that in a bar somewhere that I was the DJ. I couldn't because I would never be asked to play there again.

Sure. That's it.

It's your closing song that leads to "never be asked to play there again."

"It all makes sense," said no one, ever.

Nothing like playing it for a certain crowd bringing back memories to a certain crowd.

Based on your own statement, exactly which 'certain crowd' do you think would 'enjoy' this - and are you playing for this 'certain crowd' enough that this is something you need.

May I suggest something slightly more contemporary and, in your case, relevant..
