I provide my clients with exceptional quality in all aspects that would pertain to Weddings and Sweet 16's. To command top dollar, you can't just be good at some things and not others. My add ons would be useless if my mixing and song selection aren't good... my djing would be useless at weddings if I couldn't provide good MCing skills. All of this would be useless at weddings if I couldn't provide exceptional planning and the attention to detail needed to please the couples I work with. All of this would be worthless if I didn't have the proper marketing materials, presentation, responsiveness, etc. to showcase to clients and to get them to book (I know a number of dj's who are awesome but just don't know how to present what they offer and get it in front of people). My personal niche in terms fo events are 70% weddings, 20% sweet 16's and 10% prom and teen dances.... within the wedding's and sweet 16's its about a 50% split between greek events and everything else.
On another note... I know a number of dj's that specialize within the deep house, vocal house, and classic house genres of NJ that you often reference. They do plenty of weddings for couples that appreciate it... the big difference though is that these couples want that... but only a touch of it... the majority of the event is mainstream music. So while you know the house... you know none of the standard wedding music of toay.
On a side note... you go to every event to take photos... yet what do you even use these photos for. Since 2015 you've been saying you use them for promotional purposes... but where?
