THis is interesting. WWE is a big money maker, and they have multiple RAW, Smackdown, and other shows scheduled in Tampa Bay leading up to and after Wrestlemania on Apriil 5th. WWE is ALL about making money, so they would obviously refuse to cancel these shows. However, it appears that there will be a meeting tomorrow where the Mayor and other officials will discuss cancelling their shows...

...I wonder if the shows do get cancelled if WWE will bring up a lawsuit against the city?

WWE's schedule is already set for the next 6+ months. They absolutely do not want to postpone Wrestle mania. ...They may be forced to though.

On the fight network this morning they were saying it looks like a possible reschedule but more likely a go so far that is subject to change of course

Wrestlemania will go at some point Vince won't break the streak and Tampa wants the spin off too...Apparently well over 100 Million for the weekend

Funny coincidence— I have been pursuing the stage-hands local union for about three years (!). I finally had my first gig last Friday (teardown and load-out of the WWE Smackdown). Pancakes everywhere (???).

Anyway, it’s starting to get to the busy concert/theater/sports/performance season, and I was hoping for a bunch of extra work this month. Now most all of that has been canceled due to the panic and our illustrious governor.

You could take a club and some golf balls outside, and hit them around. You would get exercise this way instead of sitting on the couch watching someone else hit the ball around. ... :D

You could also drive your car around on the highway, and pretend you are racing on a NASCAR track. THat sounds like a lot of fun too! Just watch out for the cops. ....Keeping a look out for the popo adds suspense to the experience! :iroc::thumbsleft:

I would play golf if it wasn't 45 deg and windy outside.

Steve— You could try to swallow a microphone larger than the Shure 55SH. It’s been awhile. How about an EV RE20? Or maybe even a Shure SM7B??

That should be exciting...

I suppose if I get another Pan Endoscopy and televise it .. I tend to be more of a licker than a swallower ..

Well, Here it is. ...The road to Wrestlemania, and Wrestlemania has been cancelled. Not by the WWE, but by Government

WWE is working on a plan for the show still to go, although, there won't be a large audience there...How weird it will be to watch now.

I was big on WWF has a kid. Stopped watching around 1998. Then I got back into it around 2008. I watched it almost weekly up until about 18 months ago. I was pretty into it between 2007 and 2017. 2018, my interest in watching it declined. I work with a few dudes in their 40s that are into watching WWE. I talk with them about what is currently going on with the matches, and story lines, but I only have watched the PPVs on WWE app, and maybe a couple of RAW episodes in the last 18 months. Just not interested in it any longer.

Still, it is very popular, although less kids are watching it compared to 20 years ago, and a lot of 25 to to 45 year old men are actually a large portion of the audience.

I quit watching it for about 10 years also then my kids started watching it so I went back watching it with them. They rarely watch now but I seem to throw it on every Monday

I watched about 20 minutes of it tonight...Watching Stone Cold Come out, and stand on the ropes as if guests were there, and then get on the mic and acknowledge that nobody is there in the stands, and he starts telling jokes was just weird. I think their ratings are about to drop. ...Then again more people are at home bored now, so maybe the ratings might remain.
