Thankfully every one of them is in perfect working order... takes about 20 seconds to click the right wireless channel color and lock in the dmx address and they are up and working with MyDMXgo.

I got a couple of the Rockville bags... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rockville-...DJ-Lights-Controller-Accessories/392132244392

which ive got to say are much smaller than i imagined... but with a little geometry and tetris...along with some extra grey foam i had...i was able to utilize the triangular shape to fit 7 in each bag....

So i assigned 7 to one dmx address and the other 7 to another dmx address... just incase i want to two tone candy stripe with them.

I didnt get the charging case... so i just charge 7 at a time with the Furman's...

i truly recommend these highly affordable uplights to any who ask!!!

I like them all on separate DMX addresses so you can do the light patterns.

i have my wash lights and moving heads all on separate adresses...so i sort of ran out of space... mydmxgo only has ...what? 250?

cc
Yea, 256 by default unless you upgrade. $29 for 128 channels .. max 2 upgrades.

After you said you were running out of channels, I decided to look at what I was using .. movers use 12 channels, Wash FX2 use 28 and Wedges use 10, so for my small setup, it's 24+56+40=120, so I still have plenty of room to add more wedges, or use my Blizzard moving washes or my Blizzard pucks.

I've thought about adding a 4 pack of Chauvet Freedom Sticks .. those use 50 channels each if you want control of each LED, so 4 would need 200 channels and I would need 1 or 2 128 channel add-ons. .

yeah...ive got a little headroom left....my next light would start at 188.... its not enough for 12 uplights...but i might save it for 2 more movers at some point...

Where are the power switches? Can they get bumped on accidentally?

They are pictured above... a black switch and a red switch... both have to be flipped on in order for the light to turn on... if set to a dmx address the led's do not even turn on until triggered....

The part im most careful with is the menu... its always hot....so touching it normally changes the dmx address a number....annoying...but liveable

20 to 24 depending on the color mixing or lack of...according to the specs.... i will test them at some point

They look amazing. I can't wait to see them at an event you're doing to see what they look like then. Glad you had the extra income to buy them. I wonder where there's a place that you can get them for a cheaper price.

I got to say I want the those lights in the case designed for the Rockwedges. I saw the lights with the case for $699. They are awesome! I would love a set of 12 to 18. If you use 12 or 18 for uplights how large a room would they be good for?

Hey Everyone! Ed @ Night Owl DJs - Lou, K-Y It has been a bit since I have checked in. Saw this post and thought I'd report that I picked up a pair of Rockville 9X RGBWA-UV to see what all the hub-bub was about. I have 10 WinGo Chinese Import lights that I picked up about 2-years ago. Those have been a great addition to my lighting rig and was going to order 15 more in March before pulling back because of Covid.

The pair come in Thursday and had an opportunity to do a side by side with my WinGo. Honestly, pretty impressed right out of the box. Sturdy fixture, nice yoke/bracket, nice screen with easy navigation. They synced easily with my wireless system/controller. Were responsive and were as bright as the claimed 9X18watt diodes on the WinGo's. In fact, the Rockville fixtures got brighter quicker but by 255/100% on my controller they evened out. The spread was a bit wider on the Rockville too.

Although a bit more than the Chinese imports it's looking like a viable option for adding to my inventory. The RockWedges look promising too and appreciate you guys posting about them on the board. May pick up a pair of those to test out too.

I will put them through their paces in the coming month or so and will report back my thoughts and try and get a few pictures.

I've been using my chinese version of these lights - used all 10 last night at a hotel wedding and they were GREAT!

Uplighting for the early part then for dancing. Due to covid rules, they had the ballroom sectioned off so so they were spread around a large area and zero issues.

As the crowed thinned to the one center room I brought them in and put them around the room.

I have them on 2 addresses...may change that, and need to mark the TOPS to what they are...need to make it easy to place them so the patterns make sense.

I got the hard case that holds 10 and charges them..I took the wheel off to lighten it. Protected them all the way from china..so a good case, but it's heavier han I think the 10 lights are!
