You guys probably already know about this but thought I'd share. You can use it to mass-invite all your friends to like your biz page. You can also PM the instructions to your friends, to ask them to invite all their friends. My venue page is blowing up from it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need your help in getting "Likes" for the Ryan's Chapel biz page. Would you mind inviting your friends? It's easy, just follow these instructions:

1) Go to Ryan's Chapel FB page.
2) On the left side menu, click "Community"
3) On the right side, click the blue "See All Friends" button
4) On the popup window, click "Select All", then the blue "Send Invites" at the bottom of the popup.
5) Give it about 10-15 seconds to send out the invites.

Thank you.

My purpose in this thread is not to get likes from the guys/gals in this forum. I need likes from people who are local to my venue's area, which are coming in spades. As for usefulness of a FB biz page, I'd probably agree with you for an established biz. My DJ page pulls in relatively little traffic. However, for my venue, FB is proving to be the main source of interest and leads and getting more likes is vital to increasing my reach. On the instructions I posted, I counted at least 5 that did it and there are another 5-10 who said they'd do it as well. Yesterday, I received a message from a cake maker in the area and another PM from a lady with a daughter who's just beginning the process of putting together a wedding. That's the kind of reach I need and it wouldn't be happening if not for FB.

i was lucky to start up my puppet theater fb page before fb ruined everything and hid business pages on purpose and all that nonsense... we conducted all of our advertising to our followers and they got every single update on their newsfeed immediately... we could run a promo the morning of and see major results...also our main character had his own fb page with just as many followers...it was a golden age for fb...then it all went to crap
