This is the craziest thing I've ever had happen with the equipment.

He starts with the local group, then works up to regionals, then the state championship. Next thing you know he's providing sound at the Speaker Jam invitationals in Waukegan IL, and then at the Speaker Jam World Series in Sheboygan.

Don't pick on the guy... he's got big ambitions.

You're trying to be funny but this is serious. I do those speaker jam dance events for 2 big reasons. It's what I'm passionate about and I'm aiming for something much bigger that I won't talk about till it happens.

I love that you talk about just about every aspect of your life on here ad nauseam ... but you are suddenly tight lipped about something that just might have some relevance .... but i know...i know...you dont want to jinx your big speaker jam plan. Did u think up a 13th step or something?

Good thing I took out the extended warranty this time. I bought a pair of Audio Tecnica headphones from GC and got the extended warranty. I bought them last month and earlier today they stopped working. I couldn't hear a thing. Called up the 800 number and found out all I have to do is go to the store and they will replace them since I just bought them last month.

Normally I wouldn't get the warranty for a item less than $100. Glad I did it this time!

Not sure if I stepped on the wire that makes the headphones so you can hear. I believe that's what happened.

My friend had an old pair of cheap Samson headphones I got from him after getting a brand new pair from GC. The Samson's were buy one get 2 free. They work but are a piece of crap. Just good enough for an emergency backup.

Which Audio Technica phones? Other than the $50 ones, most of them have replaceable cords that unplug at the earcup.

Any AT product comes standard with a one year warranty why extended?

The funny thing is they have a new controller that you just put a HD into it, so no need for a laptop. The salesman said next week they have a 15% sale on it. Depending on how much a item costs you get 15% off anyway. I believe you have to $499 or more for one particular item to get the discount. That item is I think $1,700 giving you the discount any time of the year. Of course they are not going to tell you this. They will say they have to talk to the manager. That's for all who don't know.

They normally do not allow the standard 15 percent discount on sale items ...so dont expect 30 percent off... just a word to the wise..errrr...i mean...word to the...oh nevermind

You missed what I said. Let's say the costs of an item is at the regular price of $600, you can 15% off. You just have to ask for it. They don't volunteer that information and they are not supposed to.

The warranty was $8.99 so no big deal. The headphones are the ATH 20's. The good thing is I didn't have to wait. I got a new pair the same day.

No it's not a big deal but after taxes you payed roughly 22% of the cost of the product for an extended warranty and you would have got them the same day anyway. You used the manufacturers warranty, extended warranties don't kick in until the factory warranty expires
