So until he gets that in order get more he has to spend more, this is what he gets for the money he wants to pay.
We know it's a community charity event for his son's memorial
So just let us do what we do and keep it moving instead of him trying to scheme on how he can save money.
Just looking to help out since it's a charity event.
No he contacted me to ask if we could do the event again this year. I told him yes. Then he later on contacted my partner to tell him he had someone coming there to supply some equipment for the event for free.
My partner was supposed to contact this person.
I got a call yesterday from the guy
No issues with us communicating with each other.
No - Mix is being nice by charging more than he normally does, because it's a charity and he knows the guy has money to spend. The customer is the bad guy because he wants more equipment but doesn't want to pay for it.So, you are being nice because it's a charity event....
and HE is the bad guy for not wanting to pay you more money?
Think what you will.No - Mix is being nice by charging more than he normally does, because it's a charity and he knows the guy has money to spend. The customer is the bad guy because he wants more equipment but doesn't want to pay for it.
If this was a normal event, he would have easily brought 2x as much equipment than needed and charged half price.
I'm pretty sure we (and plenty of others) know.Think what you will.
I'm a nice guy and I could look at it as a way to impress the people attending the event.
I don't have a GF and it's not me saying a thing. It's what others have said about me over the years.Macho,
I think that the only people impressed at your events are you, your boys, and your White Castle working girlfriend. Stop feeling yourself bro.
Glad you said that. Some claim to not have an ego. Every DJ has an ego. Some have very big egos and some not so big. I try my best to keep my ego in check. I must remember a time when I lost the business. So I'm careful about getting too big headed. I do have confidence in what I can do and do believe I am good at what I do. I should believe in myself after 32 years of being a DJ. When others want to brag on me I thank them for the compliment and keep it moving. You're only as good as people who are looking to book you. If only a handful of people want to book you you then you may want to take a look at how you can get more people to want to book you to do an event for them.Mix Ego doesn t pay the bills
Every DJ has an ego.
You're only as good as people who are looking to book you.
Sorry you disagree but I stand by what I said 100%.Incorrect.
Also incorrect. You're only as good as your most recent performance.
I could look at it as a way to impress the people attending the event.
What happened is the controller my partner was using would only have the system go but so loud. So he turned the amps all the way up which you're not supposed to do and that's why the speakers were cutting in and out. When the amps were set right there was no issue with speakers cutting in and out..Please tell me how the people are impressed by 100 mismatched speakers cutting in and out? And before you say that doesn’t happen with your setup remember I was at your BIRTHDAY bash in the park. I have asked what happen with the stuff cutting out in several threads however you just seem to ignore the question.
I take it that you have no clue as to what was going on with the system. Maybe your partner takes care of all the technical stuff, and you just supply the gear.
