I was told that the Yorkville 801p subs have been discontinued. Is this true? It it's true that's a shame. If it is true does anyone know what they replaced it with if they did?
The ES18P is a modern-day update of our flagship 'giant killer', the LS801P. The cabinet dimensions have been altered to offer better mobility, but the punch is still there.
...and probably the weight. If I'm correct, I believe it is 137#, but tilts and rolls quite well. Haven't seen the ES18P, yet.Yorkville said ....
Not yet .. Yorkville normally sets up at the DJ Expo, so maybe they'll be there next month. There aren't any local dealers to me....and probably the weight. If I'm correct, I believe it is 137#, but tilts and rolls quite well. Haven't seen the ES18P, yet.
Correction! I followed Steve's link. It is a bit different style, weighs the same. Oh how I wish I hadn't sold my Yorkville system.
Steve, have you seen or heard the 15" subwoofer that is also new in the ES series?

Unfortunately, wishful thinking is all that I can afford or place to store it. I have been in thought about a good small subwoofer that could provide additional low end to my Evox 8.Not yet .. I'll take a run in this week to the local L&M, it's across the street from the station, see how it sounds
I wanted another set of subs for outdoor use, but realistically, the EVOX have been more than sufficient. I just don't do events over 150 people.Unfortunately, wishful thinking is all that I can afford or place to store it. I love it down there, but my wife less so, so usually go down every 4 years or so. Went to Clearwater Beach 2 years ago.@ Steve 149--or don't play in large rooms!
BTW...Steve, do you make it down to Florida much? I'm about hour from Orlando.
Nice beach! I'm on the East Coast. We have a time share so we "bank" our points and use them for exchange vacations. A year ago we were in Sarasota, Siesta Keys. All that white cool sand. what model are you referring to?
I have been looking at small subs too as I sold my Bose F1 subs, and wanting similar. I am eyeing the FBT Subline 115sa, but I don't want to lug anything heavier than 60 pounds. Apparently, the 112sa is astonishing for a single 12"
