So I found this DJ Table top facade on Amazon. It's a newer product that Pyle came out with. Only $89 on Amazon. I figured I would try it out. It is 68"x15.7" tall according to the production description. It is actually a little taller than that due to the little feet on the bottom. It measured about 16.5 inches tall. Tallest table top facade that I have now.

I was going to give this one to my brother for his birthday, BUT he told me he wanted one to fit a 5 foot table, so i bought him a 58" Grundforf table top facade to use, and he is happy with that one. ...So now I have 3 table top facades to choose from for each event lol. The Lycra is detachable on this one, so I can wash the frabic when it get's dirty. The frames are metal. It's fairly light weight, just a little bulky. I think it's a great buy for only $89. Takes a bit longer to set up since each piece is seperate. It does not transport folded up.

This is from the wedding reception I did on Saturday down at a winery in Purcellville, VA. 2nd picture I used some basic LED strip lights to light it up (strip lights from IKEA).

How do you like the look?

Looks fine, though the LED lights don't look balanced in the 2nd pic .. a little GAF on the cables would be sweet ..

not a fan of facades and I am OCD so I will be harsh :)

Lighting is not even, the two clearly different laptop heights, and mess cables still show.

Also, dress your speaker stands or use gravity stands, which looks 10x better.

Looks pretty nice to me. Does what it was intended to do. It obscures the mish-mash of gear and cables we all have, even if it does not hide them completely. I agree with the others about the uneven lights, but having the tops of the laptop showing is not a big deal. Some setups don’t hide the laptops at all, and I’ve never seen any criticism of that.[emoji4]...

I don’t use speaker stands anymore, but when I did I never DRESSED mine. They liked going buck necked!!![emoji1]

I do agree the Gravity or K&M stands do look cleaner, but they are more expensive ..

... And they’re easier to knock over IMO. I tried some years ago, and they were NOT safe, especially with large speakers. They might work OK for Ricky’s speakers though, as they are not that heavy.

I have one of the Gravity sands .. it's been pretty stable for me. And do Altos count as speakers? :)

Yes... But I used my gravity stands with my JBL 515’s, which were a bit larger and heavier. By the time I got my Alto TS112W’s I had switched to Ultimate stands with air-powered lifts. [emoji4] I’m sure those gravity stands would have worked fine with my Alto TS110A’s, but I used sub poles with those. I kept the gravity stands to use with my 8” monitors (if I ever want to do that).[emoji4]

I agree .. 15s would be too large. My JBL 12" seem to be OK, 10's would be ideal.

It's that they are DIFFERENT laptops at different heights. Taso's setup is my fav!

I am a bit OCD about the Laptops at different heights. One of my stands is 12" and the other is 11.25"

I would like to purchase another Pro X one to match my 12" one, but it seems hard to find for sale online at a desent price. IDJNOW sells a RED color one, but I want black. I bought it at the DJ Expo like 6 years ago for only $30. The other one is a knock off I got on Ebay a few years ago. Looks Identical by "Griffin", is slightly heavier, BUT it is .75" shorter than the Pro X. ...I guess these companies change the demensions slightly for whatever reasons. Maybe it's a licensing or patent issue.

Today, they have one by "Fat Toad" on Ebay that is 11.75" tall. Only 1/4 inch difference from the Pro X supposidly, BUT I am sure OCD DJs will point out the 1/4 inch difference in height as well :)

It’s FAKE OCD!!![emoji1]... You can’t be truly OCD if you’re OK with mismatched laptops, even if they sit at the same height. The REAL OCD DJ will have identical computers even when they’re NOT visible...

... MINE (mounted under the controller on each side of the perfectly centered Ethernet switch) are IDENTICAL, as are my dual matching monitors.[emoji1] Even the wiring INSIDE my rack is color coded.[emoji1]

Seriously... Your setup looks GREAT just the way it is, and I don’t encourage other’s to be as OCD as me... It’s a curse.[emoji1]

lol I am very much about consistency and symmetry and things looking clean. It was bothering me since the day I posted that pic...however I kinda forgot about it since then. After I saw your post I put a reminder in my phone to design and order it next week.
