Okay, you won't critique but I will. That has GOT to be one of the worst gig logs I've ever seen. First off, it opens with this monster graphic/monster sound, then breaks into dude showing his ceremony location with no people in it. It's like following a bulldozer with a spoon. He then shows several minutes of ceremony, boring-city, and finally gets to dance set where most of the time he's filming an empty, completely dark dance floor. And the whole thing drones on for 11 minutes, 40 seconds. I realize he's not here to defend himself and that he didn't ask my opinion but that's the perfect example of what NOT to do for a gig log. Wow.

*secret whisper critique that i hope doesnt trigger too many people...

The hyper intro definitely sells his services in a way that i dont see in his actual performance... you would think he was Deadmau5 from that intro...instead we got an actual dead mouse

also he seems to sit there and talk loudly through important moments in the ceremony and during speeches...

I'm not defending him - but this is not a large audience, so it could have been challenging to get a full floor (which explains the lack of participation on the floor).

I'm pretty sure we ALL have been there, but you don't put it into a gig log for promo purposes.

Devils advocate: The gig log phenomenon isnt always for marketing purposes per say...they are sometimes just to document the particular experience and are meant for other djs to watch and (at times) learn from both good and bad example... i personally watch them to see peoples set ups and once and a while get a good laugh at what passes for "professional dj" in this day and age...

My initial response, precisely. Hence my thinly veiled critique, "...somethings professionally done...ended at 0:27 in the first video. "

Post of the day nomination. Do I hear a 2nd?:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
Too early, as the day is young.
