MyDMX Go Problem .. and potential solution

I gave up on the Android/Sushi with Lightrider when I got the myDMX Go .. Seems Ausumm didn't fare better with it.

Personally, I think it was stupid to do wifi-only for the connection. They should've had a hardwire option at the least.
I guess they do, but Apple doesn't (at least not yet). Android will connect via USB (though doesn't retain an ability to be recharged). With touchscreen laptops, I would like that to be an option.
The hardware option the myDMX GO interface box needs is an ethernet port. The Hardware Manager app already has an ethernet configuration tab, which would allow you to set up the box to work with an ethernet router, if only you could plug it in... Then you could connect your tablet to your own wifi/ethernet router, and gain access to both the internet (for Profile Builder) and the myDMX GO box. While you CAN manage that by connecting myDMX GO to your router via wifi, you're then relying on BOTH wifi connections to work reliably.

The myDMX Go is just a junior version of the myDMX and a few other of the new software upgradeable units. I suspect they will leave hardwired ethernet to the "bigger" units, but a USB C connection to a laptop or iPad would be sweet.

If it's any consolation...I use LR with an Enttec ODE Art-net box and it's super-reliable..much better than the actual LR/ADJ dongle.

Do you have a link to that box? Which tablet platform are you using? Also, how are you doing the hardwire connection?
