Tomorrow is the day for the event in the park. The rain date is Sunday June 2nd my birthday! Looking to have a great time. Hopefully the weather holds up. Last few days have been terrible. Pouring down rain around 5 PM the last 3-4 days. Lasting for a hour or two.
All the basics are taken care of. Just need one of the DJs to bring a couple of stands for the monitors. The rest is uptents to protect us from the sun and rain.
I'm planning this event because last year was my worst year ever in my life. I was in constant pain all the time m it was a job getting up to go to the bathroom. I need this for my spiritual side. I bought me a new outfit and sneakers.
On another note the guy called my partner about the park event we do for him and his wife in Branch Brook Park the last Saturday in August. He called with a sob story. He's hurting for money. Me too. What does that have to do with us because he's hurting for money? Either you pay us our price or find someone else to do the event.
He told my partner somebody offered to do it for free trying to run game. If somebody is willing to do it for free why bother us? He's obviously lying. We're being extra nice as it is. We can't do it for anything less. We could but we choose not to. I don't know if next year I want to be bothered. We're giving him a super great deal as it is. He won't find a better deal with the quality we give him anywhere else. Just some clients are looking to get over anyway they can if you let them.
