Would you play that song at event you were the DJ? This song shows how limited music has become these days.
The Lego Movies are also where we were introduced to "Everything Is Awesome".
The movies are VERY tongue-in-cheek...
and the songs are NOT intended to be serious.
I guess you could say that about a lot of the music being made today. A lot of what I call goobers out there. Here today and gone the next day.
The song is not supposed to be taken seriously, well at least for adults . But the way I see it is let the kids be kids for a while. With all of the songs with cursing, a sex and all other stuff I’ll take this Lego song any day of the week. Occasionally when I’m doing karaoke I see the lyrics for some of this new crap. If you think hearing it is bad enough, wait until you see the lyrics. I’ve seen a couple of karaoke songs where every fifth word is censored. I saw the Lego movie on Friday and yeah this song was stuck in my head for hours. The night before I saw of the documentary “We shall not grow old” about World War I the night before. Well I Definitely better leaving in the Lego movie.
Saw that last week in 3D. Very well done...parts hard to watch....war is hell!
