I'm an advocate of not paying more than you have to .. I'm also an advocate of paying as much as you need to.

A bargain isn't a bargain if it doesn't do what YOU need it to do, just as much as a high end unit isn't a good value if it does things you don't have a need for.

Buy right.

I'll add one more:

Brand and Price are not what makes a unit high-end, they are merely consequences. Don't assume something is high end simply because the marketing department raised the price and started printing brochures on glossy paper.

If it has it in it’s name, there’s no need for assumptions.[emoji1] If a guy walks up and introduces himself as Joe, would be pretty ludicrous at that point to assume his name is NOT Joe.[emoji1]

LOL. Said every sucker who paid far more than they needed to.
Said the person that complains about automation taking over - yet somehow believes free is better. If you ain't payin, there's a programmer without a job.

If the programmer is out of a job it's because whatever he was doing isn't unique or complicated enough to set him apart from a large and available stable of worldwide volunteers. That is the essence of open source software - the fact that often enough software applications are no more unique or sophicticated than bottled water.

I'd like to see you write a program that is fully functional and easy to use - when you get done, come back and tell us how 'easy' it was. Regardless, there are millions of people that are not doing 'unique' or 'complicated' things .. but in another thread, you're complaining about a society that has nothing to do. You can't have it both ways, so which is it?
