Not sure where to put this....
it's a question about LED lights, but for illuminating my rack.
Would the DIMMER switch on this light cause interference with my Mp3 player

Actually, found the same thing in black.
It appears you can plug it straight in the wall with the adapter...
you can put a dimmer in line....
or you can use a USB.

Anyone know if the dimmer will affect the media player?
Depends on how it's built .. my guess it will be OK. Might affect wireless mic transmitting or receiving, so definitely check it out first. I had a battery powered one in my rack for a while .. dimming it caused no issues.

Thanks. Fortunately, as I just discovered...
I can put the dimmer inline or leave it out.

I just ordered it from Amazon.

Did you get yours?... MAN!!! This thing is BRIGHT!!!... I don't think it's usable inside the rack without the dimmer. Now I just need to find a good spot to mount it... and the dimmer. Unfortunately, more cable to manage inside the rack.[emoji37]

Yes I did get it....and mounted it!
I took an old 1-space rack panel...
glued and screwed a 45-degree piece of molding on it...
and stuck it on with the double sided tape,
and added zip ties for extra security.

You are correct....
very bright, needs the dimmer, and a little cable management.

I'll add a pic to this post when I get home

I did, but no time for pictures....

Glad you're OK... I was trying to put a SEARCH PARTY together, but couldn't find anyone willing to go to Pennsylvania.[emoji1]

Don't see anything new in "Private Show"... must be EXTREMELY private.[emoji1]

That's because I would have to go through NJ first ..

Here ya go. I currently have the dimmer switch just hanging above the light. It fits in my rack lid..
I am considering moving it to the space on either side of the light.
And yes...I kept it on it's lowest setting the entire night.
