It's like a pizza delivery.
You really WANT to eat a pizza...
but if you don't give the driver the important details (like where you live)....
The important thing is the pizza was made and you ended up paying for a pizza you can't eat ... that's how it's done in the Oranges ...

If we are talking about stories we don't share.....that one time, at bandcamp.... Oh, wait, that was a movie.

Mix I am glad you are looking ahead and got the new mixer and have your laptop working now, but shouldn't she know the best way to contact you....whether messenger, email, fax, landline, smoke signals, stone tables, etc.? I would assume you have had some communication....how did she get in touch last time? Or has it always been face to face at events and at sneaker jams?
The first time she called me on a video chat I think. I was busy on my way to a commitment and didn't recognize who it was since we don't get to know each other's last name.

I looked her up on Facebook and I realized who she was.

I was talking about how people like to communicate with you and not the other way around. It's about what's comfortable to them. So I had to simply adjust to her way of communicating. A way I knew nothing about and never heard of. I got it now. So message away at me on Messenger.

Right now, I'm waiting for my partner to show me how to post, then I'll have something to say.
Are you planning to use his equipment? If so, do you need to pay for the repairs first? And, will the repaired equipment work with your crashed equipment?

You're certainly wrong all the way. I got a message from the bride and was told they are going to City Hall and get married. Then a reception. Nothing big. That's it for now. Time to get ready for next Saturdays retirement celebration. I was told there should be 250-300 people attending. That should be a fun event. 4 hours long. Nothing to it at all.

Will you have to breakout the big guns with all of the adjustments on the back for this one? What are all the buttons on the back for again, and what do you set them at?

Yes because I understand this is a large room and I was told it's to be 250--300 people attending this retirement celebration.

What does your contract say? What deposit did you charge them? Have you spoken tot he venue to work out any details? Do you even know the name of the person who the party i for?

and is there a entry fee
I don't know if people have to pay to attend this retirement celebration. That's normally how it goes. Usually the price also takes care of a gift for the person retiring. That way you don't have to bring a gift unless you really want to.

Why is everyone else the idiot??
I was referring to Jimmy because he always assumes the worst and he thinks he's always right. I can only go by what I've been told. I was told they expect 250 to 300 people to attend. That just gives us a rough idea as to what to bring for a event. What's not needed can stay in the van.

The main thing is to the best job you can and get paid regardless of how many people are there.
