I own four of the original RCF ART 705-AS subs and love them! I normally take one to weddings, two only if I am in a massive hall. They are heavier at around 82 lbs (wish they were 51 lbs!) but are a nice sub overall, very musical. They really shine when you give them room to breathe like in a gym. I only use one for 500 middle school kids where they have limited funds and limited set up time. For high school formals in hotels, I use two and for high school dances in the gym, I find three coupled in front of me provides more than enough bass. I imagine the newer ones sound similar.

You can't go wrong with quality. I'd take European built speakers / subs over Chinese built any day of the week. Why? They are building with passion and not just for the money; huge difference. Think about it... Who does a better job 'Rocking' a wedding, the DJ who is just there to 'make a few extra bucks' or the DJ whose passion in life is music? Nuff said.
