Aaron Lewis supports our troops and nation as well. :)

He covers Rock, Southern Rock and Country pretty good. I like most of his stuff.

Staind is one of my favorite bands, so I have been a Lewis fan for a long time.

One thing that I thought was interesting that I have not seen before. They had most of their lights mounted in road cases and they just took the panels off and left the frame on stage with the mounted lights. You can kind of see them in the back.

I liked when he was with Staind as well - perhaps better than as a solo act. Regardless, he is talented. :)

That might be the worst "country" song I've ever heard and I've heard a lot of bad ones

I should say I like Joe Nichols more than I like most "new" country artists but this is particularly bad.

I was just listening to this before I seen that. More need to follow Zac's lead

They were much better on their first tour they about 30 musicians they hung around with on their way up playing in small clubs and bars paying tribute to the classic country artists the grew up idolizing

I was just talking to someone the other day about how excited people get when a rock song is played at a country show. The only thing I can think is that people grew up on the rock and then as they got older, drifted towards country.

Thats because most of today's country is more like 70's and 80's rock than traditional country

I have no issue with that .. just wish they'd all drop the fake/forced twang.

I I think it was a 'let's have a little fun' thing - and they all probably knew it would be discussed.

Coulda been an unplanned, impromptu performance....
that luckily happened when the tape was rolling.

(well, maybe NOT "luckily"...)
