How to Delete an Account ....

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
....and all the posts along with it?
I replied to via email. I can delete the account but not the posts along with it. Your posts will show as posted by guest after your account is removed.

As I asked in the email. Do you mind if I ask why you're leaving us? Is there anything I can do to make ODJT a better experience for you?

Yes, please delete the account as you say.

I'm leaving because ODJT is not a welcoming place. It's too cliquey with an abundance of arrogant assholes that only now how to leave snide remarks.

There is nothing you can do to make the experience better.

10-4. I have comments but won't make them because you won't be here to defend yourself.

Good luck in your future endeavors.

Really??? That's odd... I have found just the opposite to be true. I've only been participating actively in this forum for a couple of months, but I feel like I've been here for years. Everyone has been so friendly and gracious... and very helpful when asked. This site is now my preferred forum. I really appreciate all the people I've met here.[emoji39]

Pot, meet kettle. I'm really not sure how we'll all survive after you've gone but we will make a valiant effort.

I find it strange also, as I am a member of five different sites and this one is by far my favorite. Not that I don't like the others, I just find most of the people here much more mature and friendly.

Everyone has a bad day now and again, I had no problem with Houston, though I have to agree he was very opinionated and most things were only black and white with him, and we live in a world that is mostly grey area (todays world anyway).

I do think the majority of people on here are older and have a good understanding of 50's music to current, are probably not into the club DJ styles, and would probably use the sync button and automix much more than the scratch pad.

Raye, it should be pretty apparent who the problem is here, and it's not the forum members. This board is, by far, the most mature and helpful group of individuals that I've run into as well. Al waltzed in with a "I'm all that and a bag of chips" attitude and couldn't handle it when it wasn't immediately worshiped for his greatness. The really comic value to these kinds of blow-ups is that the riff-raff never is smart enough to just go away, quietly. They want to stir things up on their way out the door. If it weren't so he would've private messaged Dan and asked him to delete instead of starting an open thread so he could post his drivel rant. Well all I can say is, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Not me... Oh, did I mention I'm retired (LOL)? But even if I did have a bad day, it's very unlikely I'd log into a DJ forum and spew some crap (LOL). I went back and read Algren's posts, and he was pretty combative before he even got acquainted. I think if people would behave in forums with at least the same civility as they would if meeting in person, all forums would be better. People laughed at me in another forum when I admitted to being a little surprised by the "in your face, hip-hop attitude" that permeated the responses (LOL). Good manners are still better than none.

Well said, go over to the Serato forum if you want to see some really low life responses, I would say that is the best site for the club DJs and Rap crowd. Don't get me wrong there are some really good mannered and helpful people on that site, but I feel more like I am in thug culture when I visit.

What up Ray-dawg?!

That would be a nice greeting LOL. There are a few of the young guys over there that give very good gear and set up advice.

If he wanted to see an arrogant asshole he should have looked in the mirror......I tried to settle down a thread he was causing commotion in and he didn't like that too much started name calling and Dan warned him he wasn't seen since until the dear John letter he left. Good riddance to bad trash I say
