Digital Wireless Mic

Haven't heard that mic, but Line 6 makes solid gear. The only possible area of concern is most sub $1K digital mics tend to compete for bandwidth in the 2.4Ghz spectrum with network routers and even microwaves .. so a lot depends on the environment.

No, I haven't purchased it yet. I want to go digital. I'm tired of trying to keep track of what
frequency is legal.

I understand what you have stated but may I take the liberty of recommending the following. I have had flawless results with it since purchasing from Ben www.nlfxpro.com in 2010. The EV RE2 n767 wireless Mic. I use mine even for Karaoke as well.

It is tour quality and very rugged. It takes a 9v battery (orientation of - & + does not matter).
This link shares all the pertinent info on Receiver as well as Handheld.

Hello Peeps!
Hope everyone is well physically & financially!

Question - will I be happy with this mic for announcements, etc.?

Steve is quite right. I have three of the 35's, one of the 75's, and one of the lavalier 75's.

When they first came out they were flawless. Now, the overabundance of wi-fi, and the multiple wi-fi channels at each location, make these mics temperamental. I have had such bad luck with the lavalier that I completely abandoned it and went to Sennheiser UHF. I even have trouble after scanning for open frequencies. I suspect the great number of wi-fi enabled cell phones are contributing to the problem, and I don't see them gong anywhere.

I still use my handhelds, but only for extremely close (< 50 ft) operations, and I don't ever use them for ceremonies or other critical situations anymore.

No one wants to love these things more than I do, but I just can't recommend them any longer.

I've used the Line 6 with no trouble and the sound quality was on par with much more expensive units but I did find they don't have the distance the Sure and Senheiser mics have. The EV Canute suggested works very well also
