Why do people strive to buy 0000.1% Facebook shares? Involvement in the company, the feeling of owning, dividends from growth, the possibility of selling their rights.
At some point I came to the conclusion that we consider the track as a separate project. Even as a separate company, which is incorriving. And every person who has invested his creativity, soul, brains, skills, has the right to belonging and sharing profit.
In fact, a huge number of people take part in creating a track. Someone owns the idea and authorship, someone works on the creation of a melody, someone writes its vocals or plays on tools. After the track is created, we go to the technical moments: mastering, mixing. It takes dozens of people to create one project, one composition.
It is important for me that track is perceived as a kind of joint-stock company, where everyone contributes. Yes, all participants need to agree on the distribution of rights. But I am sure that with such perceptions, emotions are pretty different. After all, when you create your own track, you want to make it the best.
In Basanta Music we want to transform the industry. To get away from greed, where companies want to take away all the rights from the artist and capitalize themselves. We want to promote the Tegether for Better philosophy and combine talented creators together.
What do you think about it? Do you agree or think otherwise? I will be glad to discuss.
