This is my absolute favorite genre lately.... i normally save this set for the last hour or so of an event and just go crazy with it...

Anyways... if you are playing it... what's your favorite titles?

I play quite a bit of Moombah stuff as well as Afrobeat right now. Most of the moombah stuff I'm playing is remixes of older tunes that have given a fun bounce to them.

Moombah:

Laryn Hill - Doo Wop (Tomico Moombahton Remix)
J Balvin - Mi Gente (definite moombah bounce, might technically be considered latin?)
Sean Paul ft. Sia - Cheap Thrills (Tyro Moombahton remix)
Ciara - Goodies (Kid KutUp Gimmi Bootlet)
Jason Derulo - Swalla (Moombahton Remix)
Nelly - Hot In Here (Delirious and Alex K Puro Pari Remix)

Afrobeat tracks:

Wiley - Boasty
DaVido - Fall
Drake - One Dance
WizKid - African Bad Gyal
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie - Way Too Fly

Which pool are you getting those from?

I'm a member of DJ City, Direct Music Service, and BPM Supreme right now. I've also used Club Killers in the past.

They are all annoyingly close to being a complete solution. But I find that they have different strengths and weaknesses.

DJ City is probably where most of that came from. I think Delirious and Alex K post a lot of their stuff there and they have a bunch of that moombah style remixes.

I normally use BarBangerz ...But theyve been a bit limited with the Moombah stuff... i might just start making some of my own.

DJ City's trends charts have two sections that a lot of moombah sounding stuff shows up:

That Luniz - I got 5 On it remix is cool too. It's definitely in that same space.

Everyone uses slightly different language for what they call that style, but if you listen to it.. it's still moombah to me.
