Where to get a 70's style "traffic" light?

I saw the second one.... all lights are on at the same time. :sqfrown: Thanks.

You could always rewire it and put a plug for each light and hook it to a chase controller or dimmer pack and make a chase for it, or buy/build a 3 chn color organ board for it.
They sell rewire kits for those. The link we provided to trafficlights.com has them I believe.

Steal the one over the bathrooms at Cracker Barrel.
Since all this racial sh@# is going on with the election. And everything everyone says is racially motivated, do you think they'll make them change their name?:sqerr:

I think I may buy the top one... the guy also manufactures 40" high stands for them, which is cool!

Papa,

If you want to do a little looking around you can get old traffic lights pretty cheap from your states DOT. You will have to buy them in lots and probably repaint them but it is the cheapest way to go.

But (and there are always buts) the real thing is fairly heavy and isn't something you would want to carry and setup at a mobile gig!

Yep... 55 pounds. One guy is selling them for $99 on ebay. I think I am buying one today from him.

He wants $65 though, to add a sequencer to the wiring. I wonder if I could get that done by someone at our TV station for a lot less.

Papa,

I would wire that sucker with 250 watt Hals and hook it up to a DMX chase box so you could let it chase or control the signal changes!
