The last 2 or 3 days I've had to have seen at least a dozen controllers for sale between the DJ groups and local buy and sells. Is there something new and exciting in the controller world I haven't seen the memo on or are there a lot just dumping gear?

I'm not in the market so I don't look close at price but I seen a 5 year old Denon MCX8000 for $1200...Seemed a little steep to me considering they are around $1500 new up here

Some are just getting rid of stuff that they find out is something they should have never bought.

The Pioneer Rev7 got introduced late last week... 7-inch motorized platters and a price tag of about $1800. It wasn't supposed to be released until next month (and probably won't ship until then), but they dropped a preview of it and just about everyone who owns a Rane One (or just wants new toys) wants to upgrade to the Pioneer.

In general, it's a pretty good time to sell a controller that you're not using... demand is pretty high right now, as stores just don't have the stock. It's also a good time to buy used, if you can find a good deal. I picked up a used DDJ-1000 (Rekordbox-only version) last week for $1000 with a Gator soft case, decksaver and Odyssey flight case. I already have a DDJ-SZ and DDJ-SZ; my plan is to sell one of them in the next few weeks (most likely the SZ).
