I know it's been asked before but it's been a while. What software are you using to DJ with? Have you changed over the years? Pros and cons?

I use Mixmeister Pro 6 have been for years. I've used MM since V1. I've tried most of the others but I prefer MM for what I do.

I use VDJ for video.. It was easier than converting all the videos

Mainly PCDJ Dex, but am looking to switch as they have had a number of compatibility and stability issues recently. Would like to condense everything, so if VDJ goes on sale this week, I'm probably in.

Traktor Pro, but I may never buy another version. Since I’m closing up shop, there’s not really much of a reason to spend money on DJ software licenses. Mixxx 2.3 Beta works just fine, and it works well on Linux, so I’m just gonna put together a little system I can use at home, and that will satisfy my DJ needs.😊

I fool around with the newest releases of Serato, Traktor, and Mix, but when I seriously DJ, I use Mixvibes Cross DJ 3.4.3 - a really great piece of software - superior to their newest V4.2. Unfortunately, you can no longer get a License for V3.4.3

Anyone still toying with Rockit?

As soon as I installed it and found it wouldn't talk to the iTunes database, it was gone .. Ricky would not even consider adding the capability that EVERY OTHER app has. Honestly, I bought it primarily to help Ricky out at the time.

And while I use PCDJ primarily, I have the full versions of Serato and Traktor, as well as a limited version of VDJ (came with a small controller).

I bought it for the same reason I used it a few times for dinner music it worked as good as any.

I always wondered why he wouldn't add that capability. Maybe he knew something we didn't

I think there might have been a cost to use the code libraries and Rick didn't tolerate certain things ..

I still use otsav a lot. I also have virtual DJ and djay pro.

I bought a Rockit copy, although I never used it at a show. Just wanted to help Rick.

Rick was convinced that Apple and Bose were part of the axis of evil😁
