I have and I know so has @djtaso and RickRyan. They are a great effect if you can get your client's to pay you what you deserve to use them. YEs you can touch them. However be careful, they can burn tiny holes in clothing fabric.
I have the R10 version. The stickers on the side are starting to come off at this point. Good amount of scratches on it. I have 6 years of use out of it at this point, and it was purchased for $184.95 so ROI has been pretty good. Everyone has said the older ones were built tougher, like the pre '13 ones. I think I can hopefully get another 3 years out of mine. The front wheels on my gave up. I loved the form factor on mine, but it wasn't built well enough.
yes they are safer, where do you buy from?I have em, they’re generally safe, and yes they do require a certain clientele. I charge $400 for 2 and around $600 for 4 after discounts. Know your local market... many rural areas are not familiar with these, and due to their lack of familiarity, might not allow them. There is no heat emited from the spark as they come out at room temperature. However they can leave black residue due behind, as it becomes dust like.
