I have the NYE gig to do on Zoom and after that I don't know. Things are up in the air right now. I hope to do a good enough of a job at that gig that I will get more work from it. That's my aim doing any gig.

Mix .. You've basically said the same thing after all the other speaker jams and group functions you've done and it really hasn't led to much of anything. This isn't a target audience for paying jobs. Might be nice people and all, but do it for the heart .. not for the wallet, as it won't show anything there.

I have gigs on the 18th, 19th, 31st, 1st, 2nd and nearly every Friday and Saturday for 2021, most of these are bar gigs during the winter that pay $300, the 19th is a $1250 Christmas Party, and New Years is the same private event I have done for well over 10 years which s $1000 plus dinner and a suite in a swanky hotel for me and the spouse

How is it you have all these bar gigs and Holiday parties while Fennimore, WI is under a "stay at home order" and residents are told to celebrate the holidays at home with only immediate family ?

Executive Order

I have weddings in the spring and summer of 2021 that have already had to change locations because their venues have closed for good. Most of the politicians here are suggesting their restrictions may remain in place until September of 2021, while also advocating that face masks be a permanent part of the "new normal."

It appears to be more of a stay at home "request", a gathering "avoidance", and an ask to limit travel. Surely, based on previous posts, you'd be in the "that doesn't mean we can't party in public" camp ..

If the restaurants aren't open, it doesn't matter what "camp" we're in.

Not sure it actually affects the restaurants/bars ... unless his county has something special ..

Three Key Takeaways from Order #94
Order #94 calls for unity and working together in an advisory capacity. As an employer, here is what you need to know:

1. No mandates
Order #94 does not contain mandates on employers, new or old. Rather, Order #94 highly encourages employers to follow a list of suggestions on how they can help stop the spread of COVID-19 to their employees, customers and their communities.

2. No government penalties or enforcement concerns
Order #94 is not a mandate and does not include a penalty or enforcement provision. However, employers should be prepared to address concerns from employees, clients and customers regarding their response to Order #94.

3. Some health departments are making statements based on Order #94
Some local health departments have issued statements related to Order #94. Public Health Madison & Dane County is one example and more may follow suit. As always, maintain awareness of and incorporate any county- or city-wide requirements issued by authorities.

It is suggested to stay at home there are no capacity restrictions or legal ramifications to opening your business and providing for your family in most of this state

First mister I'm getting paid and I'm not delusional! I'm realistic because people who will be on their, a lot of them know me. Unfortunately the rules are set right now for inside events with people is 10PM and this is a NYE event. That means the event normally last till at least midnight. Can't happen in a venue, so this is the way to get it done. Of course you being DJ God you wouldn't need to put your contact info in the chat because you're DJ God. Oh my bad. You're DJ God and wouldn't do an event like this because you're DJ God! I'm just making due because since the shut down, not much to do in terms of the business. I had no plans for NYE and God blesses me with this. One day the gloves are coming off and Mr. nice guy goes out the window.

I have a question here that I feel is valid. Those venues that closed for good, did the people having an event there get their money back? My guess is no if the venue filed for chapter 11. I was told the Elks lodge on Main Street in Orange, NJ was closing this month. Nice venue for what it was. I've been there a few times. Too bad the place can't be rescued.

No I didn't! I said for them to decide what they want to pay me. I said normally I don't do that. For this event I decided to do it that way.
OK .. probably should have worded it differently, but WHAT DID THEY DECIDE TO PAY YOU ??

Here in PA ALL indoor dining is forbidden - as is ALL enterntainment (movies, theatres, bowling, gyms, etc) until Jan 4th. Take out only - bar or restaurant or both - UNLESS you're outside, as in a tent. Private clubs included (vfw/ sons of italy, etc). High of 41 today, nothing above 32 this week and snow accumulation expected wednesday...not sure how much outdoor dining will be going on.

I have an xmas party this saturday at a bar in WV (25 minute drive) and a NYE event in ohio (a grand opening/private party for a spa). Next booked DJ gig is a wedding in march.

They pay, I play.

Again you're wrong. I did 4 events at the beginning of the year and then in March the virus shut things down. So nothing to really report for gigs after that. Things were picking up before the shut down. I never said I was famous. I said some people know me.

Mixy you are delusional because you think another low paying job is going to get you a real paying gig. NEVER going to happen. As for you being Mr. nice guy, I could careless what you think you are going to do. You are a joke always will be a joke on here. You are simply entertainment and nothing more.

Wisconsin had a very public Supreme Court state ruling earlier in the spring that said the governor cannot enact such measures without state congress. So anything you see isn’t really enforceable it’s just guidance.
