I see on Ebay that they have the Chauvet Intimidator 1.0 I think for $70 with free shipping. I see they are discontinued. Just looking for feedback on your thoughts about this light? If I bought this light I would definitely get 2. Just looking to ad more lights to the arsenal of what we have already.

The 1.0 scanners (DMX 600, 601 and 602), for what they are, are decent units with the best feature being the multicolor color wheel. That said, these are bulbed units and are 15/20 years old and have been out of circulation for almost 10 years. New, these were not cheap lights. Imo, you would need more than 2 of them to have any impact - and more than 2, they would be best on their their own circuit. If it breaks, you're on your own. There is no support and parts are not readily available.

Looking at ebay, there is one for $69.99 and it does not include free shipping.

If you want bulbed, get a few of these - you'll be in a great place for awhile - Martin Acrobat | The Eye Catching Mid Air Performer (New!) | eBay - (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Martin-Acrobat-The-Eye-Catching-Mid-Air-Performer-New/173644956119)

** note - several of these would also require their own circuit **

1) Open window

2) Throw cash out

3) Close window

Mix these were a nice fixture 20 years ago but like Tig said if you have problems there are no parts. As for the bulbs if you're lucky enough to find the right ones they will be probably $12-$20 each...And it wont be too long you'll need one or two.

Spend another hundred or so and go buy a couple of vertigo's they are new so they have a warranty and they are LED so you're not blowing circuits and replacing bulbs

Thanks all. I will stay away from them. Just didn't want to get beat up on here for not asking first before buying.

What gig do you need lights for that you can't do with your current set up?

And do you own covers for your pleather speakers yet?

I got to be honest. It's my obsession hitting me again. I could probably do with what I have right now. I do like the suggestion of the Vertigo light. I would love 2 of them. You're right get the bags first. Those lights will still be there. Besides I just bought 2 used lights. Thanks for kicking my butt on this one. The bags would be cheaper.
