Wedding receptions with gatherings of up to 300 are allowed starting June 1st.

They still want social distance of 6tf. Not sure how that's gonna work.

It's not gonna work because there is no such thing as "social" distancing.

Anti-social spacing edicts are what they are and they are absurd.

When family members are ill with know contagious issues, we keep them away from the other family members for the safety of the unsick and the healing of the ill.

Responsible humans have always avoided coughing, sneezing, spitting, sweating, bleeding into the orifices of others.

Sexual activity between consensual adults excluded, when was the last time you did any of that or had it done to you? ...I'll wait.

I trust my family and friends to be responsible and concerned for our well being more than I ever would some elected official or "expert" or lab coat elitist.

People are going to assess their own individual risks and live with and among their friends and loved ones as THEY deem necessary, tyrants and sheeple be damned.

If some decide to avoid crowds and gatherings, more power to 'em. Just don't impose your fears and phobias on everyone else.

SO does this mean that couples are not allowed to slow dance, and everyone must dance 6 feet apart from each other? So you can have like 6 to 8 people on the dance floor at one time? LOL.

Gonna be like a Catholic school prom!

My sis & bro-in-law take dance lessons. She said at the studio they have a stick held between the instructor and student. Maybe we should take a bunch of sticks to our events?

Yes lets all wear masks and take sticks to our events 👎

2020 is essentially a lost cause for us at this point.

We are going to have Major social repercussions from all of this. We may laugh at some of this ridiculous $hit now but we probably won't be laughing about what happened 6 months from now.

Government is doing their best to squash the small businesses around the country. My brother talked to a restaurant owner out in California. Small local business. He has 8 employees employed right now trying to make carryout turn a profit to keep his restaurant afloat and alive. He has 55 employees laid off. The local government sent two quarantine code enforcement officers to his restaurant to give him a $1,000 citation because TWO CUSTOMERS (a couple) sat outside in chairs at an empty table OUTSIDE his restaurant eating their meal out of a take out box.

They also claimed to give him a break because a few customers in line were not standing a full 6 feet apart. Freaking unreal. Meanwhile, Corporate big box stores have hundreds/thousands of people a day patronizing them.

$1,000 fine, and treated him like garbage for allowing people to eat on a table outside. Owner of that restaurant told my bro he has maybe 6 weeks tops before he goes bankrupt, and they now slap him with a 1K fine on top of it. California has completely gone to hell at this point, and I am sure many other states right now are treating businesses the same.

All of these social distance rules are ridiculous at this point. They are going to destroy the economy. Our next few years are not going to resemble the last few years in the past at all!

Wait till the second wave hits....None of us here will live long enough to see a good economy again

I'm thinking most people will ignore and muddle through a 2nd or future wave.

Instead of throwing poor insults (which you are good at) go on out there on a limb and tell us how you feel I'm wrong about that

I've done that, repeatedly, in many discussions and now I state the honest way I "feel" you are wrong...and arousing pity, especially through vulnerability or sadness is how I feel.
