Any body else have keepsakes from weddings you have done, this is from tonight’s. I have something from nearly everyone I have done over the last 30 year

I have some things from various events - but the amount is very slim compared to the amount of events performed.

I've only done one wedding .. I didn't know I was supposed to be taking things ?!? :)

I DJed a 55th High School reunion for a class that had a state champion basketball team their senior year (school's only one over the years). Local newspaper was there to cover (most made it to the reunion), and current school principal spoke. She gave me a lifetime pass to attend any sporting event at the school.

Last night's wedding was at great lakes brewery in Cleveland. Bride and groom have me a growler of beer along with my tip.

I have a couple of boxes full of koozies from all the weddings I've done. I'm determined one day to figure out a way to display them. There are hundreds. 16 years ago when I got married, we handed out custom made CD's to all the guests that I burnt myself and put into plastic jewel cases. They were all songs that meant something to my wife and i.

The pic didn't come through....

I've kept a few cool ones over the years. The last one I did a couple of weeks ago had matches I haven't seen that in years. I got small bottles of a local whiskey, Maple Syrup, and a shotgun shell over the years...I'm shure the shell was a long story LOL

I got custom made Chinese Chop Stix in a very, very nice box one time.

I have brought home home made jams and jellies. One time I was given a bunch of bottles of beer that were left over, LOL. They were still cold. I put them on the floor in the back seat, and drank them over the next couple of days. Not much in terms of souvenirs.

Honestly, I can't even remember what my wife and I did for favors for our own wedding. I wonder if we did anything at all.

Got a cool keepsake from last weekends wedding... a tree trunk slice with the bride and grooms name in it....and its a small fridge magnet

I usually take home un-claimed flowers.
But the wife is not the least bit impressed.
However, if I can bring home something chocolate....

Surprised someone hasn't mentioned taking home a bridesmaid.
(we must be too old)

That's the old days Mike...In some cases these days I'm too old for the Mother of the Bride ;)

I may be getting old, but I still don't consider Moms hot ..

I got a souvenir once from a gig. A visit to the doctor and a few doses of antibiotics cleared it up though. lol

Actually, I have received a few things over the years. I have several wine openers and wine glass charms from past weddings. I have been offered centerpieces that no one took and I am pretty sure I did accept a few of them. There has been more but nothing that stands out or that I have kept. Usually it is something with the B&G's initials like small bags of custom monogrammed M&Ms and things of that ilk.
