Not sure I understand...
I think he means if you went with a single unit and split the top so you have 2 half tops left/right, you lose the second amp. With 2 full systems, you're set.

Ah, makes sense. Yes, two systems, for sure.

I was a bit concerned that there is a post regarding a blown woofer in the system but I am willing to take my chances.

Dang, $5.5k (for 2 systems). Not sure how much financial sense that makes, at least in my book. I do like the look, as long as you ditched that tripod stand for one of the newer, plate footer styles. More power to you if you have cash to burn.

I sure hope no one ever pays MAP pricing, which is what you posted. They were about a $1000 less than that.

I agree with you Rick. Not a fan of the poles at all. I will eventually get the "dummy" spacer units.

Money to burn.. I just want a nice, high-end system that sounds and looks great, for my weddings. I sold my Bose L1, M2's so I had the money to burn.

Okay, dang, $3.5k for 2 systems (still expensive in my book). Glad you have the money to burn. Personally, I'm sucking stump water and only praying that some bookings start dropping soon.

It was actually $4500, so a bit more. But remember, I sold my Bose to get these. Good gear is not cheap and cheap gear is not good.

I am praying for a slower year. I am getting older so I want to slow down a bit.

These look super cool, I'm just concerned about the 12" drivers in the sub. I feel like I lost some depth going from an 18 to a 15. I don't want to lose any more dropping another size.

Gotta use the right rig for the gig. I used Bose for years. They have dual 10's and it sounded great. So, I am going UP with dual 12's.

I hate returning gear, especially when it's being delivered. Even if I just have to re-pack it... it's a huge pain in my ass.
If you have no way of trying something out and your only option is to buy it and return it, it's a price you have to pay. Not a big deal to me.

It's about a $5,000 sound system with the designer poles. It the price you pay for an all in one kick-ass wedding sound system. It pays for itself almost immediately and yes since I also sold the BOSE, I had help. The BOSE keeps its value like no other speaker I have seen.

A quality sub will run $1K+, a quality top $800+, so a "good" system of separates will run $3600-$4000, so if it costs 20% more and does the job Scott wants, it's really not that far off.
