OK, so I'm working on improving my marketing online, and so I created a YouTube channel with my DJ name. Up to now I've just posted videos to Facebook (no issues at all) and my personal youtube...only diff on the youtube is the biz one is under that name (iceburghdj) vs my own real name, and it's new.
SAME videos on both.
On the iceburghdj one a wedding highlights video was pulled down for copyright violation (the song Shout)...but the SAME EXACT video has been up for 3 years on my personal page...
And I see videos with copywritten songs ALL THE TIME on youtube...just google any song and you'll find folks that make slideshow, lyrics, etc and use the real music.
So...what is the deal?
How do you you promote yourself if you can't have songs on the audio??
