That's what I use, and it took me a while to be comfortable with it.
Which is a good thing, since at least ONE of my presets doesn't work each time I use it...
and I have to re-program it.
Still....once it is working, it has never failed in the middle of the gig.
I can get as far as getting the lights to come on, and to even change the color, beyond that, nope, it just became the frustration train.

Totally understand THAT!
If I didn't have the help of a friend who got his masters in theatrical lighting...
I would probably STILL be trying to figure it out.

Glad to hear I am not the only one, I really do need DMX lighting For Dummies.

I am going to try out Soundswitch.

ADJ called today. Shocker, they said my issue was not covered under warranty. However, they are selling me a brand new one with original factory warranty for $100.

At least they didn't refer you to one of Mix's vendors ...

Hopefully, they are not just FIXING yours, calling it a "new" unit, and charging you $100.

(Damn, when did I become such a pessimist?)

Got my replacement mydmxgo unit in last week. Updated the firmware and it worked like a champ all last week in testing and during my wedding reception Saturday night. IT connected immediately to the ipad and stayed connected all night long.

Alright brain fart. I'm needing to create a profile for the Rockville Audio rechargeable light strip. How come I can't find the profile builder? Is it no longer available in the App Store? Where do I access this? I used it once before to make a profile.

It moved to the cloud ... whatever you had should have transferred (same login) ..

I did the 58 channel version so I could get 8 pods .. I shared it, so you should be able to see it.

If I recall, I put it under brand "_varied" and fixture name "Rockville Battery Strip 24" .. at the time Rockville wasn't a brand in the list (is now).

Works great! Thanks Steve!
