Personally, I don't like when people say something that could potentially cover a broad group of people - especially when they don't have knowledge of what it encompasses - as demonstrated by this request group because Ice Ice Baby is on your list as a 'please' - yet he's also an abuser. In realms like this, I ask the client to specifically list what it is that they don't want to hear - I'm not guessing what is or is not 'ok'.
With a request as broad as 'No Chris Brown or abusers this time', without having specific guidelines (especially when they have requested music by an abuser), this might not end good. 'Lots of older material' may well cover the additional artists - and there are more.
Kinda like saying - no music from any band that has done heavy drugs - but we love Led Zeppelin, Snoop Dogg and bands like them.
