Thanks for asking Chris
Nice job & help
So I can start setting this all up in the app - way before the piece gets here?
.. or maybe try the Arcolis product .. Arcolis - Apps on Google Play - (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=arcolis.project) Not as functional, but free ..
I think I'm gonna go back to the Chuavet Obey 40 until I hit the lottery.
Maybe I should start a GO FUND ME.
The Arcolis product is on the Sushi-DS page ( DmxSoft SUSHI, the world's most attractive DMX controller - (https://www.dmxsoft.com/) ) and I think the various Sushi products are identical except for connections. It looks to be a simple controller, but should only require an app download.Just looking for some videos to see how they work in an actual situation.
Tried DasLight....
but there are no videos for DVC1 (original version)...and it's the only version that is free.
I messed around with it a while, but the channel faders didn't actually do anything.
Checked out Arcolis...
and there are also NO videos on the basic operation.
Besides, the website seems to suggest that the Sushi-DS is not compatible.
Only the RB/RJ Sushi?

I downloaded it on my LG Tablet .. the Acrolis software REALLY sucks ....
It seems to be for setting architectural scenes ... not much for a mobile DJ.Oh, I found the download...I was just looking for a video
so I could see how the product works in a LIVE situation.
But if you think it sucks, I'll go with that.
I have Daslight DVC1 running. I prefer the Lightrider app, but my tablet died a while back and haven't had a need for one other then that. After these reviews, I am thinking about getting another tablet.
How do you get the software to recognize your fixtures?
I picked mine from the list,
and it loaded in 13-channel mode, with the proper description for each channel...
but I moved the faders (on the app) for each channel...and got nothing.

What he said..... When you assign the channels in the software, make sure your fixtures are set to the appropriate channel and DMX Type. If you have a 13 channel mode, probably has like a 2 and 5 channel also for sound active and an eaiser DMX mode. And, when using the Obey, I am assuming you are setting fixtures to use 1, 17, 33, etc. so you can use the fixture buttons to select them. I think Daslight auto assigns. So first fixture would be 1 and if it is 13 channels it will pick 14 as the next first fixture instead of 17. Also, on 1 set of lights I have, I would set the address, go back to the software and still not working. Didn't realize that one you actually had to hit the set button. Other ones when you get to the DMX number, it stays put.Did u set your fixture to that dmx adress and channel mode?
