VDJ is stating on their download page, that 2021 is for Windows 10 64 bit machines.

A head scratcher for me as I have a Win 7 Pro 64 bit machine with an SSD, 24gd ram, and an 8 core running at 4.0ghz native which runs stronger than my Win 10 Pro ASUS 64 bit gaming laptop (I-7 at 2.8ghz, 16gb ram, SSD)
It may work .. but again, there may be slight library changes that preclude Win 7 .. especially if they dove deep into the GPU integration to make the frequency band splitting work.

Yeah, sometimes a simple change in how the OS handles something will have a major impact on an audio-video application while making no difference at all in a graphics or office application.

Win 7 isn't supported any longer by MS. So any issues and you're on your own.

My lighting/backup laptop is 7, a good unit when I bought it. My main unit is ONLY an mp3 player...right? so I didn't spend big bucks on it. It is win 10 though.

I don't think I want 2 different software versions running side by side...

Been thinking about a new laptop...I guess the thinking may be over....

That's because W7 is not supported any longer - so your on your own for any issues.

I'm thinking Atomix is just covering their behind since 7 isn't supported anymore.

24 GB of Ram? Oh my!
