Looks like a lot of companies are making this kind of setup. Even Harbinger (which is Guitar Center's brand) has one. I'm surprised some companies like Yamaha haven't come up with one yet.
Just tell me was I right or wrong?Adrian #2, please create your own account here and stop sharing this account.
I've been coming there for 19 years since I've been back and I got this from the people who work there.Adrian #2:
About sharing accounts, you are wrong.
As for Harbinger, I can find no information saying that is accurate or not. Harbinger appears to be exclusively distributed by GC - but I doubt it's made by GC. Unless you can demonstrate or show information that it is indeed GC, then you can't defend your claim either.
Again, it is exclusively distributed by GC - but I doubt they make it. Being that it is exclusively distributed by them, I could see them saying it's their brand.I've been coming there for 19 years since I've been back and I got this from the people who work there.
From the info available, I think it's Behringer.I believe Harbinger is made for the parent of GC (sold by GC, Musicians Friend, Music 123 .. all same corporate) by either Behringer or Phonic. You can see even greater similarities if you look at the Harbinger mixers ... they seem to be mostly Behringer with a hint of Phonic (knob/jack placement, features, etc.). My guess is Phonic and Behringer steal from each other after the other "borrowed" things from other mfgs. (like Mackie, QSC, Crown).
Certainly not a simple "re-badging".Not sure ..
No. but it doesn't take much to move around a couple knobs. They have basically the same function set and probably use the same effects chips.Certainly not a simple "re-badging".
I've owned a Phonic mixer and too many Behringers to admit ... all worked, all sounded passable .. 50% broke ... I haven't used a Phonic or Behringer mixer in 7+ years ..
